Confidential Layer Bridge
The Confidential Layer Bridge interface is seamless, but functions in a unique way. Before connecting your wallet, you should: choose the asset you want to bridge → enter the amount → select the source and destination blockchains → manually paste the destination wallet address.

Once you enter and choose your transaction details, click the "Bridge" button, which will open a transaction window like the one you see below.

Start connecting, approving, and confirming the transactions, which will guide you step by step through the bridging process.
The Confidential Layer bridge enables several different types of bridging paths:
$BTC → Bitcoin, Ethereum, Zano, Bridgeless, Base, BNB
$ETH → Ethereum, Zano, Bridgeless
$BNB → BNB, Zano, Bridgeless
$DAI → Ethereum, Zano, Bridgeless
$USDT → Ethereum, Bridgeless
Additional asset support and blockchain integrations, such as TON and Solana, will be introduced in Q3 2025, enabling even more bridging paths. Below you will find guidance and tips for the individual paths.
Bridging from Bitcoin blockchain
After filling out all the details and clicking on the "Bridge" button, the first step in the transaction window will be "Connect BTC wallet"

LocalBased is a custom solution for bridging Bitcoin. If you choose the LocalBased solution, a new window will open, enabling you to either create or import your private key (in WIF format).

If you don't have one yet, simply click on "Create" and "Generate New Key". This will be your new Bitcoin address, which you can now fund with $BTC.
Make sure to save your new key securely, and never share your private keys with anyone!

This solution doesn't have a browser extension, so you'll need to use a Bitcoin explorer to view asset holdings and transactions.
When bridging from Bitcoin to Zano, you have two options: either connect the destination Zano wallet or simply paste the destination wallet address.
When bridging from Bitcoin to EVMs or Bridgeless, you always need to connect the destination wallet. It must match the "Destination address" you filled in earlier, but it can be a different wallet than the one you are bridging from, as long as you have access to it from the same browser.
Don't forget to have the native coin for gas on the destination chain when claiming bridged assets on EVMs and Bridgeless.
Bridging from Bridgeless or EVM blockchains (Ethereum, Base, BNB, etc.)
After filling out all the details and clicking on the "Bridge" button, the first step in the transaction window will be "Connect EVM wallet"
When bridging from EVMs to Zano or Bitcoin, you have two options: either connect the destination wallet or simply paste the destination wallet address.
When bridging between EVMs or into Bridgeless, you always need to connect the destination wallet. It must match the "Destination address" you filled in earlier, but it can be a different wallet than the one you are bridging from, as long as you have access to it from the same browser.
Don't forget to have the native coin for gas on the destination chain when claiming bridged assets on EVMs and Bridgeless.
Bridging from Zano blockchain
If you are a first-time user, the Zano mobile wallet app gives you an easy and fast setup. If you are an advanced user or plan to use the bridge frequently, consider setting up the Zano desktop wallet and browser extension.
Once you set up your preferred solution, the connecting and bridging process is intuitive, just like with other software wallets you already use.
