Research & Development: Confidential Layer began with thorough research into privacy technologies and Confidential Assets options, laying the groundwork for the protocol's innovative approach to cross-chain interoperability and privacy.
2023
Technical Advancements: This year saw the implementation of Confidential Assets, further research into Threshold Signatures, and key interoperability advancements. Significant progress was also made with wallet integration, ensuring that users will have secure and efficient access to the Confidential Layer ecosystem.
2024
Upgrades & Integrations: A year of major upgrades and integrations, including a working replicator prototype (Bridge), an MVP of the bridge web app, and the integration of Zano, demonstrating the protocol's ability to bridge assets between various chains securely and efficiently. The Threshold Signatures replicator MVP was finalized, alongside the release of technical papers explaining the innovations in Confidential Layer.
Q1 2025
Audits & Preparations: The assessment and review of the Bridgeless protocol audit took place this quarter, along with the preparation of key components and upcoming events such as the explorers, API, $CLONE initial chains, and listing.
Q2 2025
Launch of Core Components: This quarter is set for major launches, including the Bridgeless explorer, the official launch of Bridgeless L1, and the $CLONE token TGE (Token Generation Event), bringing full functionality and token utility to the ecosystem. The expansion of the ecosystem will continue with the integration of Solana and TON blockchains into the bridge.
Q3 2025 and Onwards
Ecosystem Expansion: As Confidential Layer matures, focus will shift towards the development of ecosystem apps, the release of the Confidential Wallet mobile app, and the introduction of the Confidential Layer API, further enriching the ecosystem and providing developers with tools to build on this innovative platform.
